Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage told Jon Stewart in a Daily Show interview that he once saw Icelandic strongman, Hafþór Júlíus, eat seven chickens in one sitting.
“[Hafþór and I] were having dinner, I got to have dinner with him one night in Croatia,” said Dinklage. “And he ordered seven chickens. He ate seven chickens. Like whole chickens, like roast chickens. An amazingly lovely guy, giant, huge. ”
Hafþór Júlíus will be reprising his role as The Mountain on the new season of Game of Thrones which premieres this Sunday.
Hafþór Júlíus spent last summer in Dubrovnik shooting on location. Nútíminn reports that in order to maintain his weight he was forced to eat every two hours, approximately consuming 10.000 calories each day.
