Iceland is the most environmentally friendly country in the world, according to a new publication of The Envrironmental Performance Index. The result was announced at the Davos convention yesterday.
Iceland was at the top of the 100-85 percentile, ahead of Switzerland, Costa Rica and Sweden. The UK was in 14th place, Japan in 20th, Canada in 46th, the US in 61st and China in 121st. The least environmentally friendly country is apparently Sierra Leone.
