Icelandic vocalist Björk Guðmundsdóttir and investment firm Auður Capital have founded a new venture fund that is to go by the name of BJÖRK. The fund will focus on funding new businesses and ventures that are self sustainable, and aims to benefit Iceland using resources that will benefit both its society, environment, culture and economy.
The fund will focus on new companies that use resources unique to Iceland, such as cultural output and abundance of green energy. The fund is meant for businesses with social responsibility and are environmentaly friendly
Auður Capital has already invested 100 million ISK in the fund.
