WARNING! Less Than 900 Tickets Left for Sigur Rós!

Hey everyone! This is important: we just got tipped off that tickets to the special Sigur Rós’ special Airwaves performance are close to selling out. According to their management firm, there are less than 900 spots left to the show and given the fact that the venue they are playing holds 7000 people, that ain’t many tickets left. And they are going FAST.

It’s not really surprising either: their festival-closing gig on November 4 will be their first concert at home in four years. They also haven’t played Airwaves since they broke out into the big world of international superstardom in 2001! So basically this is one we’ve all been waiting for for a good long while and there’s high expectations and nostalgic anticipation and all sorts of delightful emotions. We’re getting all verklempt!

But here’s the thing: you MUST have a ticket to get into this show! Your Airwaves wristband is not enough! So if you’re one of the <900 suckers who have taken this for granted and haven’t gotten one yet, then get your ass over to midi.is PRONTO. You shan’t regret it.

Sigur Rós play on Sunday, November 4 at 20:00 at Laugardalshöllin.
