World-wandering Icelandic musician Jófríður Ákadóttir—known in her solo incarnation as JFDR, as well as being a member of Samaris, GANGLY and Pascal Pinon—has returned to Iceland this week for a headline concert at Húrra on Thursday May 4th. She’ll be joined onstage by Albert Finnbogason on guitar and bass, Tumi Árnason on saxophone, and Magnús Trygvason Eliassen on drums.
We’ve covered the album in detail: read a Grapevine cover story from November 2016 here, and Jófríður’s own track-by-track explanation of the album here.
To celebrate the concert, we’re offering a signed copy of the LP and a pair of concert tickets to one lucky winner. All you have to do to win the prize is answer this question:
What’s the title of the JFDR LP?
a) Argentina
b) Mexico
c) Brazil
Send you answer to letters@grapevine.is by the end of Wednesday May 3rd. The winner will be notified via email on Thursday 4th, and their tickets and album will be waiting on the door of Húrra.
