In 1966 the Beach Boys released their iconic record Pet Sounds. Inspired by The Beatles’ “Rubber Soul,” this album was, and still is, incredibly influential in popular music due to its vocal harmonies, symphonic arrangements and the overall creativity and quality of its production. This year, in honor of its 50th anniversary, Brian Wilson is taking the album on tour once again. He takes the stage for 70 dates around the world, joined by his backing band and former bandmates Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin. On Tuesday he’ll stop in Reykjavík and bring some of those sweet 1960s summer vibes to the end of the season.
20:00 tonight at Harpa. 9.990-15.990 ISK.
