Reykjavík modern classical festival announces lineup

Tectonics has announced it’s 2015 lineup.

This annual festival, curated by the former Iceland Symphony Orchestra conductor Ilan Volkov, will once again celebrate modern classical music with an intentionally diverse selection of international works, performed at Reykjavík’s Harpa concert hall. The fourth Icelandic edition takes place April 16-17th, with a lineup including performances of Tony Conrad, Jon Rose, Alvin Curran and many more.

The festival will open with a collaborative performance by Icelandic composer collective S.L.Á.T.U.R and instrument builder Sarah Kenchington.
