Hi Nanna,

I’m driving around Iceland with some friends this summer and I want to know what you think is the must-see attraction?

Roadtripper

Hi Roadtripper,

I’ll be honest, it all looks the same to me. Just leave Reykjavík city limits and pretty much everything in every direction looks like the backdrop of some meaningful quote your aunt’s posting on Facebook.

Nanna

Hey Nanna,

What is your best advice for going on a road trip in Iceland?

Kerouac

Hey Kerouac (lame),

Don’t drop a deuce on the side of the road.

Iceland is pretty barren and I know toilets are far and few between, you will be tempted to just pull over and do your business, but hold it in man. And if you absolutely HAVE to do a number two and you’re nowhere near a toilet – then don’t leave the toilet paper behind. Bag the loo roll man, so at least whoever stumbles upon your log can pretend it was left by like, a horse or something.

Nanna

Hi Nanna,

Roughly how much does it cost to do a week long trip around the country?

Penny

Hi Penny,

Well, that really depends on your hotdog budget. How many hotdogs do you need to eat per day on average? Thirty, forty? My rough estimate is maybe five million ISK, give or take five hotdogs.
