Ragna, aka Cell7, is a native born emcee who emerged with the first Icelandic hip-hop band Subterranean in 1998. Their premier album ‘Central Magnetizm’ was well received by the public and sold out quickly. In the same year the band was voted the most promising band at the Icelandic Music Awards. Subterranean opened for several artists such as: The Fugees and De La Soul.
This rap veteran has maintained a significant following throughout the years and is currently working on her first solo album where she teams up with Iceland’s finest hip hop producers. The album is set to be released in September/October this year.
With her performance experience and DJ Big Gee by her side, the live performance promises to be dynamic, energetic and entertaining. Cell7 will be playing new material from her forthcoming album so the audience can expect a hip hop show infused with something new and unheard of.
