The warm and sunny weather that has bathed Iceland in spring tidings this week is on its way out for the weekend.
Vísir reports that the cold will begin creeping in tonight, especially in the north and east. Northerly winds will begin to pick up as well, which never brings anything good.
By tomorrow afternoon, this cold, windy and cloudy weather will have moved more further south and west. Rains are likely to follow, and some regions may even see snowfall in the north.
As is always the case with weather in Iceland, these conditions will not last long. Things are expected to warm up again, with more blue skies on the way, by midday Tuesday.
