The Greenland Eyes International Film Festival opens October 30 at the Nordic House, showcasing films, art and music from Greenland.
Now in its third year, it is the world’s biggest festival dedicated to Greenlandic culture will feature two films each night, from October 30 until November 4. The screenings, which are free of charge, will be at 18:00 and 20:00.
The photography exhibition, ‘13-A Story Of New Greenland,’ will be on show during the festival. It features profiles of prominent figures from Nuuk, Greenland, including politicians, singers and artists from the country shot by Inuuteq Kriegel and Filip Gielda.
Samaris and Greenlandic band Nive Nielsen & the Deer Children will play a free gig on November 4 to close off the festival.
