These dysfunctional artists, steeped in the ancient red-art of double-handed beat-synch disorder, have travelled the world jockeying their disks all over the planet. Masterminds of the Reykjavík-based events company Jón Jónsson, their combined individual remix list verges on offensive – Björk, Captain Comatose, Prins Póló and Kasper Bjørke to name but a few – yet their remix work as Gluteus Maximus will solidify and break back down somewhere in the middle of Sigur Rós’ Gobblidigook, GusGus’ Deep Inside and Trentemoller’s Miss You. With their very own original hit single “Everlasting”, featuring the magnificent vocals of Högni Egilsson, they have started releasing on their own label, Radio Bongo. Together Margeir & President Bongo are the big guns. An arsenal of rotating musical mass. They are Gluteus Maximus.
