Magnús Scheving, playing as Sportacus, will be shooting a commercial with Michelle Obama at the White House.
RÚV reports that the commercial will be a part of the Let’s Move campaign being led by Michelle Obama, with the purpose of getting children to exercise more.
Magnús, who created Lazy Town for precisely this purpose, was excited to be working with Obama again. The filming of the commercial, which is to air on Wednesday, was filmed inside the White House itself. He added that the director had to make some changes within the White House, as the characteristic leaping and jumping that Sportacus does could endanger White House furniture.
This will not be the first time Magnús and Obama have worked together. Two years ago, they also shot an event together for US Soccer in Washington, which you can see below:
