A bike parking garage/shipping container with room for fourteen bikes has just been installed in the parking lot next to Kolaportið in downtown Reykjavík.
The parking container, which is marked by the letter ‘P,’ appeared only hours ago and has yet to be tested out by city bikers, as far as we can tell from our offices.
It will, however, undoubtedly fill with bikes, sheltered from the seemingly endless rain that falls on Iceland during the fall and thus protected from rusting.
