Today is the last day to purchase discounted tickets to Iceland Airwaves 2011. The so-called early bird tickets, which cost 13.500 ISK (a 3000 ISK savings), can be purchased through midi.is. Package deals including flight and hotel are available through the airwaves website.
This year’s festival takes place October 12 to 16 and will be based out of Harpa, Iceland’s new concert hall and conference centre. A number of artists, including Beach House, have already been announced. See the line up so far.
