The organisers of the music festival Reykjavík Music Mess have announced the full line-up of performers.
According to a statement sent to the press, the line-up being made public now are all acts that will perform at either the Nordic House or NASA. “As well as the first gig on Icelandic soil by ‘ambient-punk’ four piece Deerhunter,” the statement reads in part, “the festival brings together a fantastic array of Nordic talent, from the icy electronica of Amiina collaborator Kippi Kaninus to the ferocious full-throttle rock of REYKJAVIK!; from the warm, tangled indie of Seabear mainstay Sin Fang, to the scorching punk-rock-noir of ÆLA. Not to mention indie all star and former Sugarcube Einar Örn, but he will do a special appearance with Sudden Weather Change covering Ghostigital.”
Package deals are available as of today via the RMM website, including flights, festival tickets and cheap hotel deals, and an embeddable playlist of bands playing is now available below via Icelandic MP3 streaming site Gogoyoko.
