This weekend has a little bit of everything, including punk, techno, indie and goth, as well as a large architecture exhibition for those interested.
Friday
Coral / Telepathetics / Morðingjarnir
The old-timey rock bands Coral and Telepathetics are returning from retirement for one reunion gig, and promise to rock out like they did a decade ago. They are joined by punk band Morðingjarnir (“The Murderers”).

Rafarta Records Night
Tonight’s line-up includes some of Iceland’s greatest techno talent from the Rafarta Records label, including russian.girls, Árni2, Untitled2Music, Mthmphtmn and Mike Hunt aka Vector. The party will continue into the wee hours of the morning, so bring your A-dancing-game.

Pascal Pinon
Twins Jófríður and Ásthildur from Keflavík lead Pascal Pinon, an indie-pop electro extravaganza, which has toured through Europe, Japan and China. Tonight they’ll be playing in the small and intimate Mengi venue.

Saturday
Mark Splinter / Exos / Smoking Joe / A. Handsome
If you’re looking for somewhere to get down and dance, then this event is a must. British Mark Splinter has been active in the alternative dance scene for ages, and he’s here to perform a set that stays true to the London deep dubstep and gangster garage styles. Come on over and see what the fuss is about with the European rave scene.

Window Performance
Artist Ásta Fanney Sigurðardóttir puts on a unique performance piece in the window of Wind and Weather Gallery, a conversation between texture and colours, the cyber and the organic.

Ólöf Arnalds
Ólöf just released her third solo album, ‘Sudden Elevation’ and is already working on a fourth album. The indie singer-songwriter has performed with greats like Blonde Redhead, Dirty Projectors and Nick Cave.

Reykjavík Goth Night
This is the first proper gothic club night of the year and it will be filled with the dark and the alternative. Expect to hear dark wave, deathrock, industrial and EBM from DJ Ravensclaw, DJ Vetrarsorg, GBit and DJ Mole IX.

Constructing Europe: 25 Years of Architecture
This exhibition shows both the results of the 2013 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture as well as works that have been selected by the juries over the years, composing a timeline of the development of European architecture during the last quarter of a century.
