Steingrímur J. Sigfússon, former minister of finance, former leader and current MP of the Left Green Movement, will publish a book for this Christmas, about the period from the financial crash in 2008 until Steingrímur left office this year.
In the book, Steingrímur talks to journalist Björn Þór Sigbjörnsson about what really happened behind the scenes and conflicts he had both with his opponents and teammates, Mbl.is reports.
The book, called ‘Steingrímur J. – Frá hruni og heim (From Crash to Home), is published by Veröld publishing house and will be launched in the beginning of November.
As reported, a book about Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir, former Prime Minister, will also be published before Christmas so there’s plenty of heavy, exciting reading ahead for those interested in Icelandic politics.
