The sun finally graced Reykjavík with its presence today, delighting locals and tourists alike who have grown sullenly accustom to grey skies and rain over the past weeks.
The temperature has hovered around 14ºC today, the sun is out in full force and there is nary a cloud in sight. The forecast through the weekend is hinting toward more of the same, but let’s not jinx it.
Patios around town quickly filled up with sun worshipers looking to soak up some rays while downing a frosty beverage, a sure sign that summer has finally arrived in Reykjavík.
