Last November, we took a one-week trip to Greenland, visiting the cities and towns of Nuuk, Kangerlussuaq and Sisimiut. Along the way, we tried to pack in everything we could, from dog-sledding over a frozen lake to checking out local foods, politic, crafts and culture.

Our long-read report on that trip can be found online here (and also spread across the travel section of our December and January issues).

But, as you might imagine, over the seven days there were more sights to take in than we could fit into the pages of the magazine. With that in mind, photographer Axel Sig put together a selection of his favourite shots from the trip below.

P.S. The grizzly old musk ox you’ll see charged at him shortly after the picture. Don’t get too close to musk oxen, y’all.
