This August, photographer Anna Domnick went to Landmannalaugar — the starting point of Iceland’s most famous hiking trail, rated amongst the most beautiful in the world.

Instead of sweeping landscape shots, Anna took a different view on this much-photographed subject. See below for some panoramic monochrome shots, accompanied by close-ups of the bright colours and earthy textures of the trail.
