The Icelandic Meteorological Office has issued a yellow warning for the whole country due to the storms in the south, and the risk of flooding.

The warning took effect at 16:00 yesterday and will continue until noon on Thursday. Ice and snow is melting throughout the country. Residents are cautioned that rising water levels pose an increased likelihood of flooding.

The southern part of the country can expect a storm on Thursday, as well. Driving conditions will be precarious due to wind speeds, which could reach up to 40 meters per second. Stay safe out there, people.
