Weather is a very complex subject in Iceland. You will never be bored, but you will for sure be bothered by it. This week, temperatures will rise, accompanied by stronger winds and rains.

The Icelandic MET Office shows a possibility of temperatures going up to 11º C tomorrow, something unusual for Icelandic winter. However, freezing temperatures can still be expected during the early mornings, and the days will be pretty grey, overall.

Winds will start rising today and tomorrow, reaching its peak on Thursday and getting particularly strong in the South-West, West-fjords and the North of the country, going up to 26 meters per second in the most affected areas. After that, they should go down to 2 meters P/S and stay that way for the rest of the week.
