This year’s Secret Solstice is going to have a distinct 90s vibe, while also shining a light on the new.
In a statement to the press, organisers for the festival, which will be held from June 26 to June 28, lead their line-up announcement by revealing that iconic hip-hop band Cypress Hill will be amongst the headliners at the event. If that isn’t 90s enough for you, none other than the wildly successful R&B act TLC will also be performing. On the more guitar-oriented end of the 90s spectrum, Primal Scream will also grace the stage.
Meanwhile in the 21st century, there will also be a host of Icelandic and international acts alike vying to entertain guests. These include Lil Pump; acclaimed Italian dance trio Meduza; Australian DJ Hayden James; and Norwegian band Sturle Dagsland will play Secret Solstice for the first time.
In the Icelandic scene, singer-songwriter Krummi; the incomparable JóiPé & Króli; joke-rap acts GKR and Sprite Zero Klan; and Elli Grill will also feature prominently at the festival.
