Capital Area Police were called to Kópavogur at around 21:00 last night after reports of gunfire in Grundahverfi.

As many as five police cars were reported on the scene and one from the police’s special forces.

MBL reported that a gun shell was recovered at the scene and that the police officers believed that a shot was fired directly into the air but so far the police have only confirmed that they are investigating the matter.
