Austrian video journalists, Sarah Brugner and Michael Luger of THEY SHOOT MUSIC, have shared with us their wonderful video series of Icelandic artists coping with winter’s short days.

Kristín Anna is an Icelandic vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. She is the former frontperson of MÚM and has performed as Avey Tare & Kría Brekkan with her former husband, David Portner. In this video she talks about the Icelandic winter and how she’s learned to befriend the winter darkness as well as performing “Sofðu Unga Ástin Mín”.
