The police of Norðurland Eystra took a picture of a sign post in front of the still-growing Holuhraun lava field on Saturday. The signpost has since been swallowed by the slow but inevitable tide of molten lava, reports Vísir.

The situation at the eruption site remains unchanged since the Grapevine last reported on the issue this weekend.
