A driver attempting to elude arrest in Reykjavík yesterday afternoon tried to outwit police by hiding in a large bush, reports Vísir.
The driver, pulled over for suspicious driving, abandoned his vehicle before the police could reach him and ducked into a large thick bush for cover. The two police officers on the scene then set about arresting him but were unable to coax the man out so back up was called.
With the help of more officers, the police were able to pull the suspect out of the bush and arrest him. During processing it was revealed that the man was driving without a license.
