Russell Crowe Enjoying Iceland

Published August 8, 2012

If his Twitter feed is anything to go by, it would seem Russell Crowe is enjoying – or at least making the most of – his time in Iceland.
The actor is currently in Iceland for the filming of a movie about Noah’s Ark, which will chronicle the life of the Biblical character. It is not known how long Crowe intends to stay in Iceland, but he has been keeping himself busy, both on the set and off.
Crowe’s Twitter feed reports the following, among other things:

Icelandic Chap says try Brennivin.I did i say, tasted like shit.Next time try it with raw shark.Taste better I ask? No,still tastes like shit.
sunday 50.20 km bike ride Reykjavik 108 to the Blue Lagoon, yesterday various weights, including lugging around a 160+ pound boulder
I’m living on a vast plain of volcanic ash in the lee of a volcanic glacier. The commute to work is a hike up a mountain. Have a great day

The film’s current release date is set for March 2014.
