Tickets are now on sale for Bræðslan, a music festival held in Borgarfjörður eystri which has seen its share of big names.
The festival, which will be held this year from 22 to 24 July, has hosted the likes of Damien Rice, Belle & Sebastian, and Megas in the past. This year, Academy Award-winning Irish musician Glen Hansard will be headlining, along with Hjálmar, Jónas Sigurðsson and Ritvélum framtíðarinnar, Vax and Svavar Knútur.
While about 1,000 people attended last year’s festival, Borgarfjörður eystri itself is home to only 120 people, so the natural surroundings are still unspoiled. Tickets are now on sale at midi.is, but buy them now, as they sell out quickly.
