The annual Bears On Ice celebration will be held for the seventh time in Iceland, with the addition of a special guest.
For those not familiar with the event, Bears On Ice is a yearly festival where the main focus is “bears” as it pertains to gay culture. Ísar Logi Arnarsson, one of the festival organisers, told Vísir, “We are expecting men from countries like Britain, Germany, Canada, France and the US, probably about 40 or 50 of them.”
While this is the seventh time the festival will be held in Iceland, this time around will the event will be filmed by British television producer and actor Jonathan Robinson. This will be Robinson’s first arrival to Iceland.
The bears arriving in Iceland intend to participate in such mainstay Icelandic tourist attractions as the Blue Lagoon, the Golden Circle tour and whale watching.
