From Iceland — Free Dental Care for Kids

Free Dental Care for Kids

Published May 22, 2009

For the fourth time running, the Dentists Association of Iceland and
the Dentistry Department of the University of Iceland are offering free
dental service for kids tomorrow.
The service is for children and young people aged 18 or younger, and will be available at the Dentistry Department of the University of Iceland at Vatnsmýrarvegur 16 between 10:00 and 13:00 tomorrow.
This will be the last time the service will be offered before the summer, although the plan is to continue the practice again in the fall.
The last two occasions that the service was offered, a little over 120 young people and kids showed up, and some needed to be turned away. The available information does not specify that those seeking the service need to be Icelandic citizens – only that they need to be 18 or younger.
