Björk presented her last album, ‘Vulnicura’, in Iceland for the first time yesterday in the Eldborg hall of Harpa. She sang stripped down strings-and-voice arrangements with a specially assembled orchestra, as heard on the ‘Vulnicura Strings’ alternate-version album released earlier this year. Without the layers of electronic sound and beats, the performance revealed the intricacy of the orchestration and the detail of the lyrics.
