Airwaves completely takes over Reykjavík 101 each year, but since 2015, the festival is leaving a more lasting mark on the city. WALLPOETRY is an initiative that brings together music and street art into a series of ten towering, large-scale murals that can be found dotted around the festival area.

Ten murals were also commissioned in 2015, making WALLPOETRY a twenty-stop street art walk that takes you all over downtown, through the old harbour, and out to the newly thriving Grandi harbour area. There’s a map of all the locations at here.

Just don’t forget your raincoat.
