Today marks the official start of ‘DesignMarch‘, a nifty new concept from the good folks of Iceland Design Centre. Poised to become an annual event, DesignMarch
aspires to be the Iceland Airwaves of Icelandic design, presenting all
all of the awesome (and some not-so awesome) things Iceland-based
designers are producing. It really is a good idea, and it really looks
like it’ll make our weekend something to remember, what with a plethora
of openings, fashion shows and stimulating panel-discussions taking
place all over Reykjavík-town.
There’s two ways you can keep up with what’s going on DesignMarch-wise
over the next days: you can either pick up one of the pamphlets spread
around town (although their crazy design makes it kind of hard to tell
what’s going on and when – but it looks real good), or you check out
their web-site.
