The first Sunday in June is always Seamen’s Day in Iceland. This year, we visited the festivities down at Reykjavík harbour, replete with demonstrations from the Rescue Squad, kid’s activities, live music, and of course, plenty of fish to go around. But even those with little or no connection to Iceland’s sea-faring culture were more than happy to enjoy a rare sunny and warm day.
