Musician Daði Freyr finished runner up to Svala’s ‘Paper’ in the Icelandic qualifiers for the Eurovision Song Contest with his contribution ‘Is this love?’ (Icelandic title: ‘Hvað með það’). But don’t fret Daði, we believe in second chances and so does the international Eurovision fan club OGAE.

Every year, OGAE hosts the Second Chance Contest, held in the previous year’s winning country. It’s quite simple, each country chooses a representative that gets to compete about being the best, well, best of the rest that is. One can say a lot of things about Eurovision fans, but it’s hard to argue against their obsession level passion.

Go losers!

With matching sweaters sporting a pixelated image of each performer’s face, and a coordinated dance routine that takes the word corny to a whole new level, we are sure that Daði’s synth-pop sensation will make the cut in Warsaw this September. Unlike Svala’s semi final meltdown.

Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the biggest loser of them all?
