A new poll from Gallup shows that, amongst the parties with a realistic chance of winning seats in parliament later this month, only two of them have seen a rise in support between polls: Bright Future and the Left-Greens.

Vísir reports that both of these two parties gained two percentage points of support between polls, conducted about two weeks apart. As such, Bright Future is now at 4.7%, while the Left-Greens are at 16%.

Over the same period, the two parties currently leading the polls – the Independence Party and the Pirate Party – saw dips in support between polls. The Independence Party went from 26% to 24%, while the Pirates went from 24% to 21%.

Where other parties are concerned, the Progressive Party went from 9.4% to 8.2% while the Social Democrats went from 8.8% to 8.5%.

Parliamentary elections will be held on October 29.
