Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson has been nominated for a Golden Globe for his work on the film, Theory Of Everything, reports RÚV. Specifically, Jóhann has been nominated for Best Original Score.

Based on Jane Hawking’s memoir, ‘Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen’, the film Theory of Everything is a biopic detailing the love story of astrophysicist Stephen Hawking and fellow Cambridge student Jane Wilde (the future Mrs. Hawking).

Jóhann’s score has received wide-spread critical acclaim. Congratulations Jóhann!
