Sigur Rósʼ new album, Kveikur, went straight to ninth place on the UK Albums Top Chart published last night. The album was released on 17 June and this is the bandʼs third album that makes it to top ten in Britain, RÚV reports.

Kveikur, which was released on June 17, has been well received, as Grapevine reported; New Musical Express graded the album 8/10 and a Guardian critic gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
