Another Case Of Horse Meat Lasagna

Published February 15, 2013

More horse meat masquerading as beef has been found in a frozen lasagna. Norwegian grocery chain NorgeGruppen issued a statement today revealing that First Price lasagna contains horse meat, RÚV reports.
The grocery chain began testing products following the revelation that Findus brand frozen lasagna, which is sold throughout Europe, contained up to 100% horse meat, as the Grapevine reported.
NorgeGruppen found that First Price lasagna contained more than 60% of horse meat in the samples it tested and was removed from stores today.
