New Sigur Ros Album To Be Broadcast Online

Sigur Rós is offering fans the chance to listen to some or all of their upcoming album online this Thursday. Their soon-to-be-released album, Valtari, is set to go on sale later this month, but the band is letting fans get an earlier sample of the work, Clash Music reports.
This Thursday, starting at 19:00 GMT, selections from the album – plus the album in its entirety – will be played through this website, which includes a countdown clock until broadcasting. The broadcasting will be done on a rolling schedule, covering every time zone on Earth to hit 19:00 “local time” for each time zone. Each broadcasting session will last an hour.
Valtari is due in stores May 28. Until then, you can listen to the non-album cut of one of the songs on it, Kvistur, here:
