Video: Plastic Gods – “Burning Of The Midday Bowl”

Our exclusive live video coverage in the run up to Iceland Airwaves 2012 continues apace with a very special video for y’all! Our second video in the series shines a very murky spotlight none other than PLASTIC GODS as they performed an abridged version of one of their songs. Plastic Gods are a 6-piece band hailing from Reykjavik, and are considered by many to be Iceland’s premier sludge metallers, with a fearsome live reputation for playing loud, heaving stoner doom. As we met them at their practice area, they were already getting into their “zone”, so to speak, but when they started to play, the atmosphere they made  was very thick and intense, with noise and cymbals flying everywhere! We at the Grapevine guarantee that if you see these guys at Airwaves 2012, they’ll blow your mind!

Plastic Gods will be performing on Saturday 3rd November, 21:20, at Gamli Gaukurinn
