Like most decent Reykjavikings,  Grapevine’s friend Kormákur Arthursson hung out in 101 Reykjavík on December 23rd. His trusty smartphone in hand, the rascal managed to catch the essence of what being an (non-empoverished-diseased-or-otherwise-troubled) Icelander at that particular  time of year. Seeing this, anyone who’s been will want to go back. Anyone who hasn’t will want to go.

And anyone who was there a couple days ago will feel oddly nostalgic for that stressful, beautiful, foul-smelling time of year.
