Kaleo

Despite their young age and status as a newly formed band, the members of Kaleo grew up together and have been playing since they first met. They have formed a rare connection and were officially formed after guitar player Rubin Pollock joined the band, just before a 2012 Iceland Airwaves show at an off venue gig. Since then, they have played all over Iceland and had great success on Icelandic radio stations. Their version of the Icelandic classic “Vor í Vaglaskógi” hit number one on two of the biggest radio stations in Iceland and was the  most played Icelandic song of the summer.
Their other two singles “Pour Sugar on Me” and “Rock N Roller” have also hit the charts and been played a lot. There first album will be released later this fall and the expectations are high.
The band is made up of four young men from Mosfellsbær, Iceland: Jökull Júlíusson – Vocals, guitar, Davíð Antonsson – Drums, vocals, Daníel Ægir Kristjánsson – Bass and Rubin Pollock – Lead guitar
