Professor Matthew Roby has returned with more Saga Stories for all you Grapeviners!
Join us for the second of two episodes on Laxdæla saga, filmed in the region of Dalasýsla, where much of the saga’s action takes place. The episode is filmed at Helgafell on the Snæfellsnes peninsula (65°02’32.7″N 22°43’44.8″W), about 50km southwest of Laugar on the other side of Breiðafjörður, where Guðrún lives until her death in advanced old age. We even met some of the current fluffy, four-legged inhabitants of Helgafell, who make an appearance at the end of the video.
