Such is the attraction of this neighbourhood spot, that young moms and families will make the trip to 105 so the adults can enjoy a sourdough flatbake (a hearty pizza, if you will), while the toddlers play in the corner, away from screen time distractions. From its inception, the focus of the operation has been on using products and produce straight from the farm, and the menu highlights the providence of the meat and vegetables. The place is showing some signs of wear and tear, but the family-friendly vibe is unbeatable.

Sushi to choose from for the pickiest eaters or adventurous mini gourmands? What’s not to like! Osushi’s USP is their swift rotation of freshly-made rolls and small plates that combine convenience and novelty in one nifty package. The conveyor belt system may take a bulk of service out of the equation, yet service rarely falters and the staff take excellent care of adult and tween needs alike.

Cottage core is strong at this cute cabin-in-the-countryside restaurant that dishes up tasty Italian classics that even your moody teen can get behind. While brunch is fairly popular, we love it for those quieter weekday dinners where eating out with grown children is still in that sweet awkward phase of “we can hang as a family,” wrapped in the familiarity of pizzas and pastas.
