Icelandish is a public Facebook group where foreign learners and speakers of Icelandic share resources, tips, advice and whatever else people with a common interest share on Facebook. Established in 2012, its admins describe it in the following words:

“Iceland’ish (aka Speaking Icelandic in English) is a light attempt aimed at breaking the language barriers for the foreign residents who live and/or work in Iceland. Tourists, frequent visitors, foreign partners and merely anyone who have interest in the Icelandic language or culture should also benefit from joining the discussion. Joining is widely open both via join-requests and friend-additions is most welcomed for all English speakers as well as native Icelanders.”
