Airport Strike Is Off

A collective bargaining agreement has been reached between airport staff and ISAVIA, reports RÚV

The general airport strike, which was scheduled to begin today has been called off. The collective bargaining agreement was signed late last night. 

The 3 year agreement stipulates a 2.8% pay rise this year and a maximum pay increase of 4% in the second and third year. 

Kristján Jóhannsson, FFR Union Head said the agreement was “acceptable”.
