Stretching 54 km between the geothermal hot pools of Landmannalaugar and the luscious Þórsmörk valley, the Laugavegur trail is Iceland’s best-loved hikes. So we decided it was high time a group of Grapevine adventurers took on the challenge. Tune in for snow and steam in equal measure.

Thanks Reykjavík Excursions for the ride and 66 North for the fab jackets and trousers!

Note: Due to the effect the Coronavirus is having on tourism in Iceland, it’s become increasingly difficult for the Grapevine to survive. If you enjoy our content and want to help the Grapevine’s journalists do things like eat and pay rent, please consider joining our High Five Club.
